Marketing Workshops

In 2015 I was contacted by Conestoga College to design a 2-day workshop for post-gradate Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) students.

The workshop covered social media, search engine optimization, content marketing and pay-per-click (PPC) marketing. I condensed as much information as I could into two days, and after receiving some really positive feedback from the college they asked me to turn to the program into a full, two-semester course — and asked me to teach it.

I had a great five years teaching at the college. Such a great experience for me to bring my knowledge and experience that I apply in the field at work everyday into the classroom. The one part of post-secondary that was often missing for me was the practical implementation of what was being learned, so I was thrilled to be offered this opportunity. Over my five years with the college I taught a total of 13 courses.

In May 2020, in the height of the COVID-19 pandemic I was thinking a lot about how I could offer my course-structure in a fast-paced, hands-on environment for working professionals.

Something over a few days, every quarter to help business leaders and owners level-up their knowledge and skills. Something with actionable takeaways that they could implement at work, right away.

So, here we are.

I am beyond excited to share that these workshops are now in motion and the first will be offered this fall, in November 2022.

These workshops are an accumulation of the best part of every course I designed and taught. The purpose is simple: to give business owners and leaders the tools they need to succeed, grow, and take things to the next level.
